Chakra Meditation
Chakra Meditation usually requires more time compare to other meditation technique. This technique is also known as chakras balancing and a complete workout on all 7 chakras may take up to 2 hours. But it’s a comprehensive way to stay healthy :)
Understanding the correspondences between crystals and chakras will help you in choosing the crystals and changing them according to what’s happening in your life at the time.
Let suppose you are experiencing difficulty expressing yourself. You may then use a blue laced agate placed on your throat chakra. The soft and gentle energy of the blue laced agate can assist you to vocalize your thought better.
Remember to choose a quite place so that you will not be disturbed. Lie down, close your eyes, relax and breathe deeply…..
When you are ready, start your session with chakras cleansing.
A simple but effective layout for chakras cleansing is to put one single terminated crystal above your head pointing downwards and one at your feet pointing upwards. Visualize energy running smoothly up and downwards through the 7 chakras.
Next, work on your chakras:
- Place a stone on each chakra. The best is to let the crystals stay in direct contact with the skin. You may want to wear loose clothing so that you can place the crystals underneath.
- Start from your Crown Chakra and move downwards. Complete the healing process one chakra at a time. Feel the energy of the crystals and visualize yourself breathing in positive energy from each of the crystal.
- Visualize the crystal glowing and see it with your mind’s eye. Allow the energy and color to spread to you heart, mind, body and fill the air
- around you. When you are ready, visualize the chakra closing up and move on to the next one.
- Count from 10 to 1 and unhurriedly open your eyes. You should feel highly energized after this healing.
If you do not have time to do a full chakra layout, you may want to concentrate on one or two of the weaker chakras…….
You may like to……
- Simply put one crystal on one chakra and focus all your attention on that.
- Carry the appropriate crystal in a pocket and touch it whenever you feel overwhelmed.
Make sure you are well-grounded before you start and after you have ended the session. If you are doing it for someone else, you should wear a grounding crystal such as hematite or smoky quartz.
