Save Thousands of Dollars with These FREE Tips on Feng Shui Bedroom.

Creating a feng shui bedroom does not have to be an expensive or tedious activity. You certainly can do it yourself quite effortlessly if you know exactly what you should look out for.

First, recognize that the bedroom is yours and your partner (for couple) personal oasis. This is the place to recharge and rejuvenate after a long stressful day.

This is also the place where you (and your partner) should feel protected and comfortable. Hmm…it’s also the room for intimacy, of course. ;)

You see, the activities are less rigorous in nature and hence the room is more Yin in nature.

There are 5 aspects you should really look into to create the ultimate feng shui bedroom. I will address them one by one here.

Choosing the Right Feng Shui Colors

For a blissful marriage, use color pink (or rose) as the main color for the master bedroom.

If you are seeking love, peach is a suitable color to boost your love luck.

Soft green and blue are also suitable colors for the bedroom as they are colors of hope and cultivation.

By the way, you can use green for your children’s room too as it also symbolizes knowledge.

You may like to consider using butter cream, taupe, beige or terra cotta. These colors are perfectly fine for the bedroom too.

Take note to avoid bright colors like red, orange and yellow in this rejuvenation room.

Balancing the Feng Shui Elements

My recommendation is to use Wood or Earth element as the predominant element for a feng shui bedroom.

Why Wood or Earth?

Wood creates the feeling of adventure, change and freshness. On the other hand, Earth discourages infidelity, give feeling of stability and security.

Be careful with usage of Fire element. Splashes of Fire element is good to enhance romance and passion in the room. But too much of it is STRONGLY NOT recommended as Fire element is Yang in nature.

What about Water and Metal?

They are not recommended to be the predominant element too. Metal element symbolizes structures, formality and ending.

Water is commonly associated to black and dark blue which makes the room depressing. You will like to introduce these moods into the bedroom, will you?

Spicing Up the Romance

That's right! Feng shui bedroom includes spicing up the romance. This room is usually a place where you get intimate with your partner.

In the video above, you should have received some useful tips from the video above.

But let me just give you a few more ways to enhance romance in the bedroom - through the use of crystals!

Place crystals in the relationships corner of the room. (ie in southwest corner of the room for countries in the northern hemisphere and in the northwest corner of the room for countries in the southern hemisphere).

You can place a pair of mandarin duck carved out from rose quartz for romance and fidelity. The pair of ducks should be facing the equator.

For those keen to attract long term mate, you may use a heart shaped rose quartz or crystal ball. Place the crystals on the bedside table or close to the headboard. This can help to invite love into the room.

Furniture Placement

Bed - Needless to explain, the bed is the focal point of the bedroom. Position the bed in such a way that you can get a good view of the room door.

Having said that, avoid position where your feet face the door. This is commonly known as the “coffin” position by the Chinese.

Also avoid bed placement where foot of bed directed to a window or bed head beneath a window as this interrupts sleep.

Mirror - this is possibly the second most common piece of furniture in the bed room. Mirror is believed to stimulate the chi.

Make sure the mirror is not directly opposite the bedroom window. Also do not place the mirror in front of the bed or directly opposite the bedroom entrance.

Other Feng Shui Bedroom Tips

  • Refrain from having too many photos in the room especially children photo (for those with kids).
  • Keep office work out of the bedroom.
  • Avoid rigorous exercise such as aerobic.
  • Use only bedroom furniture that you need.
  • Avoid playing loud, rock music in the bedroom.
  • Keep the bathroom door close, preferably with a screen. (This applies to the bedroom with attached bathroom.) You may consider crystal bead screen using black or dark crystals like onyx and lapis lazuli. This keeps and prevents excessive water chi into the room.
  • Do not place a fish tank in the bedroom as it energizes and stimulates too much chi to give you a restful sleep.
  • Clear the clutter especial those under the bed to allow the flow of chi causing backache.
  • Avoid direct placement of bed under beam as it may cause headaches and nervous disorder.
  • Avoid bright lighting directly over the head of the bed as it may cause eye sight and liver problem.

Try it out. I sincerely hope I have created for you good content on feng shui bedroom. Use it well to improve your love life and create the ultimate bedroom for yourself.
