Gain Unfair Advantages over your Peers with a Feng Shui Office

Ever wonder how a feng shui office can benefit you?

What will you say if you can tap into the beneficial energy of the crystals and supportive directions to:

  • Attract wealth and bring stability to your business or career.
  • Bring you a comfortable working environment.
  • Give you clarity of thoughts and focus on the task on hand.
  • Motivate and empower you.
  • Enjoy a harmonious working relationship with colleagues.
That is what feng shui office is all about.

And again, what will you say if all this is available free to you here?

It is!!! So join me to understand more on feng shui office.

To begin with, your work environment should have good lighting. Natural lighting is the best but it should not be glaring.

You should have adequate ventilation and good circulation of chi. Do not clutter up your work place with unwanted items. Trash them! Open the window to allow fresh air to ventilate your work place when possible. These are the basics to good feng shui office.

Balancing the Feng Shui Elements

Similar to other room, working with the feng shui elements in office involves selecting a predominating element.

Here’s a guide for your reference :

Wood
Generating new ideas, development and growth in business start up

Fire
Actions/motivational driven activities, dynamic, outgoing and forward looking

Earth
Cozy, relaxation, stability, intellectual, induction and stability

Metal
A New start, concentration

Water
Classified research activities, introspective problem solving, assessment, communication

If you are creating a home office, one easy way to get the predominating element in place is to paint the wall with a suitable color.

Using colors is a good way to evoke the quality of the energy of the element.

But seldom you will need only 1 element alone as I come to realize that myself. Now let’s suppose you need to come up with a fresh and creative idea for your client. What should you do then?

You can bring 2 elements together — Wood for new idea and Water for communication.

How about 2 examples for clarity?

Maintain some water plant (Wood and Water Elements) on your working desk. Change the water daily to keep it fresh and clean.

OR

Keep pots of plant close to Blue Lace Agate Crystals on your working desk. That’s right, plant are Wood Element while Blue Lace Agate Crystals considered as Water Element.

Think about it and I am sure you will have many feng shui solutions to your challenges.

Your creativity the limits.

Choosing the Right Feng Shui Colors

Unless you are designing your home office, I don’t think there is really much that can be done.

I cannot imagine you going around painting your office the color of your choice. :)

But let’s suppose you are indeed building your own office. For that you can consider the following color tips.

USE…

  • Yellow for focus, intellectual, rational
  • Beige for security,
  • Brown for stability,
  • Peach for a feeling of connectedness with others,
  • Bright pink for motivation,
  • Deep blue for reflection,
  • Green for growth and development,
  • Red for actions oriented activities,
  • White for new beginning

Furniture Placement

I spend a great deal of time at my desk and I’m sure you do too.

The focal point should be the working desk. Your success in creating your feng shui office lies in positioning the desk correctly.

Here is what you should be taking note… From where you are sitting, you must have a complete overview of the room so that you can see everything that is happening and anyone entering the room.

Do not place the table in direct line to the door.

Also avoid facing or back directly on to a window.

Use curtain or plants if necessary.

Now, if it is unavoidable to have your desk in line with the front door, you can remedy the situation by positioning a screen or filing cabinet in front.

Will you be interested to know how to auspiciously position your desk? You sure would, right?

Here’s a little secret for you feng shui office success…

Apply the Ba Gua Diagram to your office and position the desk.

There is nothing much to my statement, isn’t it?

Let me elaborate: Let’s say you are a business owner so naturally the wealth location is a good place for you to locate your desk.

Another example…?

Okay. Say…you are working a book publisher specializing in children book, then locate your desk in the children location.

Simple right? :)

The Power of Scents

If you are working at home, keep yourself going with aromatherapy. You can consider peppermint, jasmine, rosemary or eucalyptus prior to dealing with mentally strenuous tasks.

For me, my all time refreshing is still orange!
